seeking to offer a fresh alternative to how light can be integrated into the home environment, british designer john russel has created the ghost candelabra. the ghost exploits the inherent qualities of fluorescent acrylic through the use of CNC technology and celebrates the traditional candelabra in a contemporary context. the ghost is comprised of flat translucent acrylic panels which have been etched with a classic candelabra form. they are easily assembled for use, and just as easily disassembled for storage. 4 small glass pieces rest securely on top of the acrylic to hold standard tapers in place.
